We keep hoping that the Huber family's musical and artistic talents will rub-off on Ella --sadly, we don't have much to offer her... she got a little piano lesson from Pops last weekend.

Auntie Erin left last week for a semester abroad at Virginia Tech's new campus in Punta Cana, on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic. We (especially Ella!) are going to miss you, but are so excited for you. So when do we get to come for a visit?!

Sock Thief

When we were getting Ella dressed this morning, it almost felt normal to leave one sock off – that’s how we find her most days when we pick her up from daycare. One of the kids in her classroom, Jordan, better known as the “sock thief”, crawls around to all the other babies and steals their socks (sometimes shoes as well), and then hides them underneath her crib. It’s priceless to walk-in and see teachers scrounging for socks throughout the day...

Happy New Year

We had a great weekend with all the fam as we celebrated Ella's Christening, an "I'm-beginning-to-feel-old" birthday, and bid farewell to 2006 -- what a wonderful, wonderful year it has been.
