Ella's personality is really beginning to emerge! Our content, laid-back baby is starting to show us her stubborn, persistent side as well. Wonder where she gets this from??!!

Case-in-point:

• She has started to resist naps, even though she is obviously tired. She will sit-up in her crib with her eyes closed, thumb in mouth, nodding off...but refuses to lie down.
  
• We are introducing baby sign-language to her, with common words such as "eat", "more", "banana", "book", and "dog". She has really picked them up! However, she now expects for you to mimic her signs, whatever they may be.
  
• She has gained tremendous confidence with her new found mobility and will not stop until she gets where she wants to go, as you can see in this video.
