It was just two days ago that we were strolling around the Virginia Tech campus with our wonderful friends from college -- Krista, Taylor, and their daughter Virginia. As we reminisced about our college days, we hoped that Ella and Virginia will one day want to become Hokies, too -- even VT roommates. I think it's safe to say that our next stroll around our beloved campus, and the Blacksburg community, will somehow not be quite the same -- it will be even more beloved. Along with the entire Hokie Nation, our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims of Monday's senseless violence.
