Me: Ella, are you ready to go see Daddy?
Ella: Daddy working?
Me: No, we are going to go meet Daddy for dinner. Let's go find him.

Ella: Okay. Where Gannmom?
Me: I don't know. Where is Grandmom?
Ella: Gannmom cooking.

Me: So, where is Pop (McClintic)?
Ella: Pop jumping.

Me: Where is Gran?
Ella: Gran got umbrella.

Me: Where is Pops (Huber)?
Ella: Pops church.

Me: Where is Caroline (friend from school)?
Ella: Caroline go store.

Me: Where is Mama?
Ella: Mama right there! That silly. That funny. That crazy!

Me: Where is Ella?
Ella: Ella (-- long pause --) grumpy. Ella needs a pig.

Go figure. Who isn't grumpy when they don't have a pig?
