It's amazing to us how similar Ella and Preston are. Not only do we think they look exceptionally alike, but they continue to amaze us with their similarities. Both born in June, both laid-back babies, both avid thumb-suckers, both great eaters, and on and on...
Even recently during their respective four-year-old and four-month-old check-ups, we discovered that they weighed exactly the same at their four-month-old mark, even down to the ounce - 14lbs. and 4 oz. Ella is still a head of the game with her height - in reviewing her growth chart, we discovered she grew 7 inches from age 2-3!
What is also amazing is how much Preston is enthralled with his sister. He watches her every move, and nothing seems to light up his face like Ella's presence. We are reminded of when we were awaiting Preston's arrival, and he would kick every time Ella sang to my belly.
As we enter into this season of gratitude, we are reminded of just how fortunate - yet often chaotic - our lives have become with these two little souls.
