- BUH-BYE MA TOOTLE - translation: "bye-bye my turtle", which she says in the afternoons as we leave school, referring to the big stuffed turtle in her classroom
- BAAT SEEEP, GEN? - translation: "black sheep, again?" which is cue for us to sing another round of Ba, Ba, Black Sheep
- MILKPEASANKEWW -translation: "Milk, please? Thank you", said all as one word, in very dramatic fashion, as if she hasn't had anything to drink in days
- ROSEEE? UP! - translation: "stand up and let's do ring-around-the-rosie!"

Ella has started to string words together to make phrases... and boy, it is ever cute. What's even cuter is when we catch her practicing in the car, or in her crib, when she doesn't think we're listening. Some of our favorites:
